China’s preconditions are unacceptable, say US officials

A senior US State Department official has said the conditions set by Beijing are unacceptable for communicating with the country, Voice of America (VOA) reports.

While China’s economy is under pressure, its bid to emerge as a global superpower is behind the scenes.
