Christine Hakim Recently, he became a topic of conversation among netizens after appearing in The Last of Us series. She plays a scientist named Ratna Pertiwi in Episode 2 titled Infected.
Christine Hakim’s journey to get involved in the series was not short as she had to go through a series of processes including casting. This was revealed by Arya Ibrahim, Christine Hakim’s manager, in an Instagram upload.
“Christine Hakim as Ratna Pertiwi in @thelastofus series,” Arya Ibrahim wrote in an Instagram upload on Tuesday (1/24).
“After almost 2 years of keeping this project a secret, this good news can finally be enjoyed and shared across the world!” He continued.
The upload features a series of significant moments from Christine Hakim in The Last of Us project. The first photo shows the 66-year-old actress taking a photo with Neil Druckmann, director and screenwriter of the video game adaptation series.
Christine Hakim and Druckmann’s moment was captured while filming in Canada in October 2021. Not only that, another upload also shows Christine Hakim participating in the casting process for the role of Ratna Dewi.

The third photo in the upload shares the appearance of Christine Hakim as Ratna Pertiwi, a mycology scientist at the University of Indonesia (UI). He appears to be wearing batik with a plain exterior while showing piercing eyes.
Arya then shared the moment Christine Hakim traveled to Los Angeles, USA. He also took a photo in front of The Last of Us promotional billboard, with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.
