Different types of health disorders due to the use of technology

1. Sore, dry eyes

Using gadgets for hours on end can blur your vision and make your eyes dry.

Not only in the eyes, you may also experience pain in other parts of the body, such as the head, neck, and/or shoulders. To prevent this from happening, apply 20-20-20.

Every 20 minutes looking at the gadget screen, use 20 seconds to look at something else, 20 feet (equivalent to 6 meters).

2. Bad posture

Using gadgets and computers can contribute to poor posture. Looking down and slouching will put extra stress on your neck and spine.

Take a walk after an hour if possible to avoid changing your posture.

3. Sleep Disorders

Using technology too close to bedtime can lead to sleep disturbances. The reason for this is the blue light from the device which continues to stimulate the brain.

Blue light can disrupt circadian rhythms or body rhythms, making it difficult for someone to sleep. You may also feel slower the next day.

So avoid using the devices 1-2 hours before going to bed to avoid negative health effects of technology. Replace it with other activities, such as stretching, reading a book, or taking a hot bath.
