Yesterday at the FIBA World Cup 2023 tournament, Canada was actually one of the countries that had a pretty solid performance. Canada managed to win a bronze medal, placing third in the overall tournament. This result does not seem to satisfy Dillon Brooks. He then wants Canada to perform even better at the Paris Olympics in 2024. To do this, Canada must add strength with quality players. There are still the names of Jamal Murray, Andrew Nembhard and Andrew Wiggins who could be called up to compete later in Paris.
“I said after we won bronze that it doesn't matter, we have to bounce back. We have to improve. So add Jamal, add Nembhard, add Wiggins. It will make our team better. They are selfless players , Brooks said.
“When you come to play for your country, it's about pride, it's not about money, it's about nothing but pride and representing your country.
