CIREBON – Kacirebonan Palace is visited by national geographic tourists from America and Canada.
Cirebon City Culture and Tourism Department Head Agus Sukmanjaya said 73 tourists came from the National Geographic cruise ship.
“Their journey was actually long to get to Bali, but thank God Cirebon was trusted to be a place to visit,” he said on Wednesday (7/8/2024).
He went on to say that their aim was to promote Cirebon as being rich in culture.
“Perhaps they are rarely found at home, but in Cirebon, they still preserve their ancestral cultures,” he continued.
He believes that with today’s social media technology, culture and tourism in Cirebon city itself can be seen.
“It is now our role, in collaboration with stakeholders, to create more attractive packaging so that all crops can be well promoted,” he explained.
Agus said that the city of Cirebon itself has a historical and cultural strategy to become a tourism locomotive.
“Indeed, we are limited in terms of area, so we maximize in terms of history and culture, the natural beauty of each region,” he said *** (Sakti).
