HOLOPIS.COM, JAKARTA – Playing Joel in the HBO series The Last Of Us, Pedro Pascal apparently agreed to star in the series based on the popular video game thanks to the encouragement of his nephews.
The reason is that Pedro’s nephew turns out to be a big fan of the video game produced by Naughty Dog.
While on a talk show with Graham Norton, Pedro said he called his sister who has two sons.
“My voice is over-speakerand when he dropped out he was taking my two nephews to school,” Pedro said, recounting the start where he was excited to audition to become Joel, quoted Holopis.com.
Pedro also told his brother that he had an offer to work on a series based on video games.
“So Bruno and Pedro, my nephews, immediately asked Games what, and I said The last of… The last of us?!” said Pedro, imitating his nephews’ voice.
Pedro also admitted that his two nephews told him to have to take the job.
