BERITAKALTIM.CO – The 2024 Formula 1 (F1) Canadian Grand Prix (GP) on the Gilles-Villeneuve circuit in Montreal will be played this weekend, from Saturday (8/6) to Monday (10/6) WIB.
The Canadian GP is the ideal arena for Max Verstappen to regain his best performance because he has always won in the last two editions.
In the previous series at the Monaco GP two weeks ago, Verstappen didn’t move at all after finishing only in sixth position, losing badly to local driver Charles Leclerc who emerged champion.
The F1 Canadian GP will begin on Saturday (8/6) WIB with practice session 1 starting at 00:30 – 01:30 WIB and a few hours later practice session 2 will be played at 04:00 – 05:00 WIB.
In the evening, training session 3 was played at 23:30 WIB for one hour and ended on Sunday (9/6) at 00:30 WIB.
The qualifying session to determine the starting position will be played on Sunday (9/6) from 03:00 to 04:00 WIB. Meanwhile, the 70-lap main race session will be played on Monday (10/6) at 01:00 WIB.
Entering the ninth series of F1, Verstappen currently leads the standings with 169 points. The Dutch driver is 31 points ahead of Leclerc in second and Lando Norris in third with 56 points ahead.
In the constructors’ standings, Red Bull leads the standings with 276 points, 24 points ahead of Ferrari in second place and 94 points ahead of McLaren in third place.
