TRIBUNJOGJA.COMM – The representatives of Indonesia will start the fight to return the Sudirman Cup to the country by fighting against Canada.
Indonesia will face Canada on Monday (15/5/2023) at 09:00 WIB.
As for the 2023 Sudirman Cup tournament, Indonesia are joined in Group B along with Canada, Germany and Thailand.
Then, in the second game which is due to take place on Tuesday (16/5/2023), Indonesia will meet Germany.
Then in the final match, Indonesia will face Thailand which will take place on Thursday (5/18/2023).
All Sudirman Cup 2023 matches will be held at the Olympic Sports Center in Suzhou, China, from Sunday (5/14/2023) to Sunday (5/20/2023).
In this prestigious tournament, Indonesia fielded 20 of its best badminton players.
In men’s singles, there are Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonathan Christie. For the ladies’ singles, there are Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri Kusuma Wardani.
In men’s doubles, Indonesia has Fajar Alfian/Muhammad Rian Ardianto, Marcus Fernaldi Gideon/Kevin Sanjaya Sukamuljo and Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Marthin.
Meanwhile, in women’s doubles, Indonesia have been bolstered by Apriyani Rahayu/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti and Ribka Sugiarto/Lanny Tria Mayasari.
In mixed doubles, there is still Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, Dejan Ferdinansyah/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja and Adnan Maulana/Nita Violina Marwah.

By fielding the best team, Indonesia aims to win the title at the 2023 Sudirman Cup and bring back the Sudirman Cup after 34 years abroad.
Sudiran Cup 2023 Red and White Team departed Terminal 3 of Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, Banten for China on Thursday (05/11/2023) at 11:15 AM WIB.
The Indonesian team was led by team manager Armand Darmadji.
