Ganjar is included in one of the presidential readings of the 2022 NAP National Working Meeting.
REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — Governor of Central Java Pranowo Reward claimed to be ready to run in the 2024 presidential election. National Mandate Party (PAN) Vice President Viva Yoga Mauladi appreciated Ganjar’s willingness.
“It will color the mosaic of the presidential election, the more candidates there are, the more alternatives the community will choose to determine the national leadership,” Viva told reporters on Wednesday (10/19).
Viva said that Ganjar was one of the personalities proposed to be a candidate for the presidency during the national working meeting of the PAN 2022 (Rakernas).
“After that, PAN will organize a national meeting of leaders (Rapimnas) to discuss who will be proposed to the KIB,” he said.
He said PAN had formed a coalition with Golkar and PPP in the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB). Later, the determination of KIB candidate pairs will be decided by consensus, not by vote. “The KIB gives priority to internal candidates. In PAN there is Bang Zulkifli Hasan, in Golkar there is Pak Airlangga Hartarto, and in PPP there is Pak Mardiono,” he said.
“The KIB is also monitoring personalities outside the KIB. We will see what the next political momentum will be,” he added.
