In the United States, the Ganjar-Mahfud couple received 6,646 votes, or 50.95%. In Canada, Ganjar-Mahfud received 2,351 votes, or 53.26%. This position is well above the position of Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in second place and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar who finished third.
The Ganjar-Mahfud couple even won a landslide victory based on the recapitulation in each electoral center of the Foreign Election Committee (PPLN). Here are the details:
1. Los Angeles, California (3,801 voters, 12 polling places, 55.30%)
2. New York (3,400 voters, 15 polling stations, 47.91%)

“Let us thank God for the encouraging results in response to our hard work and prayers in the midst of this dynamic election. For us, this is a struggle of values to determine the best leader for Indonesia, and in a country without welfare and intimidation from Indonesian authorities. “Now, we can finally choose the best leader for Indonesia according to our conscience and common sense,” Lia Sundah Suntoso, chairwoman of TPLN Ganjar-Mahfud of the United States, said in a statement received SINDOnewsSaturday (24/2/2024).
Tenny Martini, President of TPLN Ganjar Mahfud in Canada, said something similar. “This is the result of the hard work of all of us, volunteers, supporters, witnesses and all parties working for the victory of Ganjar-Mahfud in the United States and Canada. Even if the authorities once intimidated one of our community leaders here, we are not concerned,” he said.
This satisfactory result is also due to the fact that citizens continue to participate in the electoral process in Indonesia. In fact, since the dark incident at the Constitutional Court (MK), they have also worked very hard to supervise the 2024 electoral process from start to finish. A PPLN in the United States, specifically in New York, even had a double problem with the permanent voter list (DPT), reported by the non-profit organization Migrant Care to the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu).
