During the Google Games Summit, it was announced that Play Games on PC would expand into new territories, adding several new games along the way.
Google Play Games on PC, which first launched in beta testing last year, allows gamers to enjoy their favorite mobile games on a bigger screen and developers to connect with their fans.
Google also showcased some popular titles among the many games coming to Play Games on PC soon, such as Angry Birds 2 and Disney Mirrorverse.
To bring more games to the platform, Google has partnered with Intel to run bundled games for smartphones instead of PC through Play Games on PC. Despite this, Google continues to urge developers to improve apps for the platform and only uses it as a temporary fix to quickly bring new titles.
Additionally, the company is also previewing Game Custom Play on a PC emulator that integrates with Android Studio to make it easier to test games on Windows. For now, developers must express interest and hope to gain permission to access the emulator.
As reported earlier this year, the beta version of Google Play Games on PC is now available in Europe.
This is an expansion as the beta has so far been limited to 13 countries: Australia, Brazil, Canada, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and United States. With this expansion to Europe and New Zealand, the Play Games PC beta is now available in 56 countries.
They are now More than 100 Android games available on PC. Google hinted in December 2021 that it would expand its multi-screen gaming platform from Android smartphones, tablets and ChromeOS to Windows.
Minimum requirements for Google Play Games
You need a quad-core processor, 8 GB of RAM, 10 GB of free SSD space, Intel UHD Graphics 630 or similar, and at least Windows 10 (2004 version). However, Google recommends a “gaming-grade GPU – such as the Nvidia GeForce MX450. All GPUs recommended for Google Play Games You will find here.
