‘He doesn’t like real fights’ – Chingiz Allazov threatens Superbon ahead of world championship

Genghis Allazov hoping to lure the ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion Superb Singha Mawynn brawl when they met in the main event ONE Fight Night 6 on Prime Video.

Scheduled for Saturday, January 14 or Friday night primetime in the US, their world championship action is some of the most anticipated in recent times, thanks to a sensational winning streak for each fighter.

Allazov earned No. 1 challenger status after three thrilling performances, and he won ONE Featherweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix silver in the process.

Meanwhile, Superbon has beaten three legendary strikers – Sitthichai Sitsongpeenong, Giorgio Petrossian and Marat Grigorian – during his ONE Championship journey to win and defend the belt.

Allazov praised the leader and what he brought to this fight, but he was very confident in his abilities and believed his strength would make the difference:

“I am one of the biggest problems for [Superbon]. He knows it. He’s got good timing, he’s got good universal style.”

“I have the kick and the power on it. He’s a very good fighter, but maybe he made some mistakes here and it became a big problem in his fight against me.

While he hopes Superbon will provide effective kicking and counterplay, the Azerbaijani-Belarusian striker also criticizes the mentality of his opponents in the circle.

Specifically, Allazov thinks the Thai superstar doesn’t want to get involved in action-packed attacks.

he said:

“Earlier, Superbon told Petrosyan that he was not a fighter – that he was a player. I say the same now. For me, Superbon is not a fighter. He is a player, you know ?

The 29-year-old sees Superbon’s elusive and sometimes retrograde style as a way to avoid fights.

However, Allazov hopes that by challenging the world champion with his simplicity, he will draw his opponent into the wild exchanges in which he excels.

“Chinga” explains:

“He doesn’t like beatings. He doesn’t like real fights, you know? He has game plans this clever. He has kicks, kicks, kicks and after that maybe he will like this fight.

“Maybe you’re talking to him. Chingiz says Superbon is not fighting. He doesn’t like boxing matches. He doesn’t like tough fights.”

Allazov can’t wait for action after a long wait

Chingiz Allazov baited Superbon into a fight for good reason. Both fighters must fight for two titles – the first in A fight night 2 then on A fight night 5.

However, injury and illness caused two delays that lasted eight months for both men.

Each of them competing in March 2022 at A X, where “Chinga” won the Grand Prix Championship and Superbon defended his gold against Grigorian. After this epic event, Allazov immediately prepared for this title challenge.

The Gridin Gym representative said:

“After Sitthichai, we started to prepare. We started practicing. Maybe eight, maybe more than eight months, we’ve been waiting for this day.”

According to Allazov, all those months of waiting, anticipation and hard work only sharpened his focus even more.

And, he knows he needs all that focus when he steps into the circle in front of him. kickboxer pound for pound the best opponent in the world.

Chinga added:

“Now I am more focused on this fight. He’s one of the best fighters in the world. Many people are waiting for this, and I am waiting for this. My team is waiting for this. My trainer is waiting for him. I love today. Mentally, I’m ready for this fight.
