Indonesia joins 4 European countries in 2024 World Junior Championships squad

Badminton News: The Indonesian badminton team won a favorable draw in the group stage where four European teams, namely Estonia, Armenia, Portugal and Georgia, joined Group E of the 2023 Junior World Championship Mixed Team.

The 2023 World Junior Championship mixed team number or also known as the Suhandinata Cup, this year brought together 40 participating countries, which is the highest record that is usually only attended by 24 teams or less .

In Group A, defending champions South Korea will face top-seeded China, as well as Australia, the Netherlands and Norway.

In Group B, it will be no less exciting as well with second seed Japan meeting strong teams from Canada and Singapore, as well as Mauritius and Lithuania.

The Malaysian and British teams will fight for the winner of Group C alongside the Latvian, Austrian and Polish teams.

Group D includes Germany, the strong team of India and Brazil, Dominica and also Iceland, while Group F includes the strong team of France as well as Spain, Ghana, Hong Kong and Belgium.

Group G is made up of strong teams from Taiwan and Denmark, as well as New Zealand, Slovakia and Tahiti, while Group H is made up of strong teams from Thailand, USA, Slovenia , Peru and Iceland.

The mixed team numbers of the 2023 World Junior Championships will play a preliminary round where only one team will advance from each group to the quarter-finals stage.
