There are countries that have already welcomed the new year 2023, there are also those that are the most stretched to welcome it.
Here is a list of the countries that were the first to welcome the start of 2023 and the last to celebrate it.
The Pacific island nations of Tonga, Samoa and Kiribati were the first to welcome the new year.
They have a difference of about 8 hours with WIB.
New Zealand is the next country to celebrate the new year about an hour later.
