World Basketball News: Denver Nuggets basketball player, namely Jamal Murray, may still not be able to participate in the upcoming FIBA World Cup 2023. Murray is still troubled by his injury and the player’s status is still uncertain at this time.

In the Canadian national team’s tryouts against Germany yesterday, Murray was also not seen playing.
“Jamal Murray did not participate in the exhibition match. He will focus on his recovery during the offseason. A decision on his status at the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be announced at a later date,” reads -on in an official statement from the Canadian Basketball Federation.
Murray indeed appeared so heroic in the 2022-2023 NBA playoffs and managed to bring the Nuggets out as champions. With the long trip, it was clear that Murray was exhausted and now needed time to rest to recover physically. Canada itself is certainly hoping that Murray can appear and help them go far in the FIBA Basketball World Cup. But even if Murray is absent, Canada will always be one of the terrible teams. They have a row of other classy names who have careers in the NBA such as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dillon Brooks, Nickeil Alexander-Walker and RJ Barrett.
