Bisnis.com, JAKARTA – United States President Joe Biden and several heads of state G20 others held an emergency meeting on the sidelines of the Bali G20 summit on Wednesday (11/16/2022) to discuss the missile attack that hit Poland.
Reported from AlJazeera, Joe Biden held meetings at the conference table with leaders from a number of NATO member countries, including Germany, Canada, Italy and France.
Several leaders attended, including British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, European Commission President Ersula von der Leyen and European Council President Charles Michel. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida also attended even though Japan is not a NATO member.
Biden said “no” when asked by reporters if he could provide information on what he knew about the explosion. He also did not comment when asked about possible Russian involvement.
Earlier, European Council President Charles Michel announced that he would propose an emergency coordination meeting with EU leaders attending the G20 summit.
Michel also said he called Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and confirmed the EU’s full unity and solidarity in supporting Poland.
Previously, the Polish Foreign Ministry said the missile was artificial Russia fell in the village of Przewodow, Polandnear the Ukrainian border on Tuesday (11/15) at 3:40 p.m. local time.

Meanwhile, spokesman (spokesperson) Piotr Muller said that Poland is currently increasing the readiness of several military units and that the determination will require consultations with the allies on the basis of Article 4 of the NATO agreement.
