Little rapper Lil Tay caused a stir when it was announced that he had died at the age of 14. But soon after, the news was denied and he just released a new song and returned to Instagram. Lil Tay finally addressed the news of the “hoax” allegedly the work of her father.
Lil Tay recently went on Instagram Live to update fans on her condition. The Canadian influencer proved he’s still alive by announcing new music called “Sucker 4 Green.” On her show, Lil Tay officially announced her return to Instagram after five years.
“I’m back. I’m going to reveal all. I’ve been waiting for this moment for years, learning my own craft and perfecting it along the way,” Lil Tay told fans.
Lil Tay’s new song reveals more about her life and her interest in “money.” While leaving social media, the teenager admitted that he spent a lot of time writing, singing, dancing and playing music. In her music video, Lil Tay shows off these abilities.
“This video and this song are just snapshots of the life I’ve built. What and who I am with this title track,” he said.
Regarding the hoax that he had died, the “Shake It” singer previously said his father, Chris Hope, was the cause. In a photo uploaded by Lil Tay, Chris was even accused of being a misogynist, of liking to hit women and of faking his death. This is said to have been achieved as part of a cryptocurrency system.
“It was Chris Hope (his father) who spread false news about (my) death. He tried to sabotage me,” he said.
“Chris is not a good man. He wanted to control my career and my money and I and my family had to endure years of torture with the justice system because of him. But in the end, we won. I’m free now. I thank God, I thank my mother,” he said.
Chris himself denied the princess’s accusations. In his latest statement, Chris’ lawyer said Lil Tay’s comments were 100% false. It is said that many false rumors are spread by many people who control their children’s Instagram.
