The leader monitored the arrival of the state plane from Canada at West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency, Tuesday (05/09/2023).
The arrival of the state plane from Canada is part of preparations for the 43rd ASEAN Summit in 2024 to be held in Jakarta. Indonesia, as the host of this event, is preparing everything to welcome the leaders of ASEAN countries and international guests who will attend the summit.
The state plane from Canada that landed and parked overnight at West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati, Majalengka Regency, is part of a series of security measures for the summit of ASEAN in the West Java Regional Police Zone.
Majalengka police officials and the Kertajati police chief, along with other security officers, provide monitoring and coordination to ensure everything goes smoothly and safely.
Majalengka Police Chief, West Java Regional Police, AKBP Indra Novianto, SIK, M.Si., said: “The arrival of this state aircraft from Canada is one of the milestones of the main preparations for the ASEAN summit. “We are committed, together with other relevant parties, to ensuring maximum security and the smooth running of this event,” he concluded.
