Many Western countries call on Israel to comply with international law

Western leaders also welcomed the announcement of the first humanitarian convoy for Palestinians in need in Gaza. Since Saturday, via Rafah, aid has started to enter Gaza.

The escalation in the Gaza region continues to escalate after Israel sporadically bombed the area. Tel Aviv did this to destroy the Hamas group, which attacked Israel on October 7 and claimed to have killed 1,400 citizens.

Although Israel claims to target Hamas, Israeli attacks have actually caused serious harm to civilians. The Palestinian Health Ministry said on Sunday that the death toll in Gaza rose to more than 5,000 people and that 14,254 people were injured.

At least 400 people were reported killed in Gaza on Monday, following continued Israeli airstrikes over the past 24 hours. It was recorded that bombings took place at 25 points in the Palestinian enclave.

In addition to its massive attacks, Israel has also cut off access to logistical equipment, water and public services in the Gaza region. This situation also threatens the lives of residents in the area, with health facilities increasingly overwhelmed due to the large number of victims and limited supplies of medicines and electricity.

Israel itself issued an evacuation order to Gaza residents to the south of the enclave. More than a million residents have fled their homes in the northern Gaza region.
