Max Verstappen predicts tough weekend at Canadian GP

F1 News: Red Bull Racing driver Max Verstappen predicts a tough weekend at the upcoming F1 Canadian GP. He himself had just experienced a tough race at the Monaco GP.

During the last race at the Monte Carlo circuit, Max Verstappen had struggled since the free practice session and complained that his car was jumping easily. Due to these unresolved issues, Verstappen was only able to finish sixth overall. This result is the worst so far of the 2024 season for Super Max. Realizing that his performance was not good, Verstappen himself was pessimistic about his ability to recover at the Canadian GP.

“We’ll have to wait and see (how we perform in Canada), a new surface too I think, which might also give us some surprises. But it probably won’t be our strongest weekend either because of that. It could also be a little better than (Monaco),” Verstappen said.

“(We will be weaker on) tracks that are bumpy or have a lot of turns, or you have to go through a lot of turns, so the street circuit will probably be a little tricky. Hopefully by then we will have a little understanding of what is happening,” he said once again.

Verstappen himself is not panicking that his dominance will start to catch up during the 2024 season. He hopes Red Bull can act quickly to find solutions to every problem the RB20 has.
