This eruption caused a number of eruption earthquakes until 06:00 WIB. AirNav has issued an ASHTAM warning number VAWR3537 for the areas affected by the eruption, namely Juanda Airport and Abdulrachman Saleh.
Staff at Surabaya and Malang branches, he said, are ready to anticipate further possibilities of an eruption. However, Rosedi ensured that all in-flight navigation conditions were safe.
“Based on the results of the coordination and the temporary on-site inspection, the condition of personnel, buildings and air navigation facilities is in a safe condition, including the runway for take-off/landing activities of planes,” Rosedi said.
