GALAJABAR- Canadian artist Neve Campbell, who played Sidney Prescott in the movie Scream, said he won’t be involved in the upcoming sequel.
Indeed, Campbell felt that the offer made to him was not commensurate with the value brought to the franchise.
“Unfortunately, I will not be doing the next Scream movie,” Campbell said in a statement.

“As a woman, I had to work very hard in my career to build my values, especially when it came to Scream. I felt that the offer made to me was not the same as the value I brought to the franchise. This is a very difficult decision. To all the Scream fans, I love you. You truly support me. I am forever grateful for what you have given me over the past 25 years. he added.
While Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Media, which is the company behind ‘Scream’, have not commented.
Although Campbell hasn’t explained which offer he turned down for “Scream 6,” he did talk about his struggle to demand fair compensation.

At another point, Campbell and compatriot Jamie Lee Curtis came clean on the salary.
