In 2008, a tourist discovered a face carved into the cliffs of a remote island in Canada’s Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.
However, when he decided to return to the island, he was unable to find her, as he did not know exactly where the face carved into the stone was.
Then, not long ago, the large face carved into the stone was rediscovered by Hank Gus. After finding it, Hank immortalized the face on the rock with his cell phone camera.
“The face carved into the rock is quite visible from the water due to its large size. The sculpture is only about 40 feet from the cliff and about 20 to 25 feet from the bottom of the cliff,” he said. Hank told CTVNews. Mirror and city OkezoneMonday (7/20/2015).
Hank added that the face carved into the stone looked like the face of someone blowing, and perhaps it was a symbol of wind. Not only that, Hank also added that the face carved on the stone resembles a mystical creature called Ugi, which in Tseshaht culture means blowing wind.
Currently, researchers are studying the phenomenon of the large face engraved on stone. Researchers are investigating whether the faces carved into the stone are the result of nature or the creation of people from ancient civilizations.
