Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, finally opened up about his state of health. Luhut said he felt tired after performing busy daily activities.
“A few days ago, after attending an activity, I suddenly felt extremely tired. This feeling of tiredness was not the one I usually feel after work. Seeing the abnormal state of her husband, my wife then took the initiative to take me to one of the “Hospitals in Jakarta for further preventive measures”, said Luhut, quoted from his personal Instagram, Tuesday (10/10/2023).
Luhut also said that in such a state, for practically several days, he was not allowed to carry out the activities of the team of doctors. Even just to check the latest news and updates, which Luhut does regularly every morning.
“My wife doesn’t allow me. ‘Rest and listen to your body first, Dad,'” Luhut said, imitating his wife’s words.
At the hospital, Luhut admitted that he was very bored. However, this method should be used for the sake of health.

“I understand that the duties and responsibilities as a public servant are absolutely known to the public, which is why I feel the need to share news of my state,” he said.
For the process of restoring his health, Luhut admitted that he received an offer from his friends, Singapore Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean and Singapore Foreign Minister Vivian Balakhrisnan, to be treated in Singapore.
“This afternoon, I decided to spend the recovery phase in Singapore, as well as carry out a more comprehensive medical examination and assessment of my health,” he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to all parties, including President Joko Widodo who provided a team of presidential doctors and nurses to treat him until his condition improved, as well as to his family and his friends and to all the Indonesian people.
“In times like this, the support and prayers of family, friends and all the people of Indonesia are the strength that encourages me to stay enthusiastic to heal. Thank you for all the love and support you brought me “Because as a weak creature, I can only try to pray, may God Almighty repay all your intentions, prayers and good deeds,” Luhut concluded.
