“Travelers really appreciate the convenience and with the app e-VOA This will make it easier for foreign tourists to enter Indonesia, without having to queue at the airport (smooth experience),” Angela said.
Application e-VOA will be implemented in stages, prioritizing VoA services at Soekarno Hatta Airport and I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport.
Currently, only the top 26 countries with VoA users can enjoy the service e-VOAincluding Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Belgium, Canada, China, Denmark, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, South Korea, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Spain, Switzerland, Timor Leste, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and United States of America.
Wamenparekraf hopes that this service can be extended to other potential markets. Thus, the foreign tourist attendance target, which was previously set at between 1.8 and 3.6 million foreign tourists in 2022, can be achieved.
