TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Airline management sea lion provide information regarding the development of information and photos on two Boeing 737-900ER aircraft bearing the Lion logo at Russia. Lion Air’s strategic director of corporate communications, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, said the plane was no longer controlled and operated by Lion Air.
“It has been returned to the party that leased or loaned the aircraft to the airline,” Danang said Tuesday evening, March 14, 2023.
Previously, Danang said, Lion Air had leased two planes from the lessor. The lease then ends with the agreement of both parties in 2021.
“After that, the lessor took over the two planes in question and took them out (moved) them out of Indonesia,” he said.
Danang said Lion Air really respects the decisions contained in the agreement, which was agreed with the lessor.
“Lion Air always maintains a good cooperative relationship with the lessor and related parties to ensure that the aircraft return process is completed in accordance with applicable procedures.”
Until now, Lion Air is always guided by operational standards and maintains a pattern of good cooperative relations with lessors, banks (bankers), Indonesian and international aviation authorities, stakeholders airlines and partners.
