As is known, Russia had the upper hand after leaked US documents said Ukraine would run out of air missiles.
This will cause the Kremlin to focus its attacks on air defense equipment. Of course, it will only be a matter of time for Ukraine to suffer defeat.
However, seeing that Ukraine was in danger, the United States, Germany and the Netherlands did not want to remain silent.
According to the Eurasia Times, the United States, Germany and the Netherlands have agreed to deliver Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine.
France and Italy have also agreed to provide the SAMP/T-MAMBA system, and Norway and Canada have decided to donate National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS).
Earlier this week, Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov announced that Germany had delivered its first highly anticipated Patriot defense system.
The Patriot system, one of the most advanced defense systems created by the United States, is designed to engage enemy aircraft, ballistic missiles and cruise missiles.
However, the system is basically useless without the missiles. The United States and its NATO partners have pledged to provide more air defense equipment and weapons, with Washington planning to send more Patriot missile batteries.
Referring to this decision, Ukraine will be better prepared to face the Russian fury from the air.
