Profile and history of Amazon, which will lay off 18,000 employees

Jakarta: A Giant Tech Company Amazons reportedly laid off more than 18,000 company employees.

This was revealed by Amazon CEO Andy Jassy in a memo to staff on Wednesday, January 4, 2022 local time.

According to the Variety report, the layoffs will occur across multiple teams, but the majority of employees affected are those who work in Amazon stores as well as in the People, Experience and Technology divisions.

Amazon.com, Inc. is a giant corporation doing business on the world’s largest retail site.
