Profile of Tengku Firmansyah, an actor who is now a factory worker in Canada

Jakarta – Actor Tengku Firmansyah is living a new life in Canada. He’s doing a routine that’s very different from the entertainment world that made him famous.

This man, born in Bandung on September 15, 1977, decided to change direction to become a factory worker at the Edmonton Exchanger.

Before settling in Canada, Tengku Firmansyah had been roaming the Indonesian entertainment world for decades. His handsome and talented figure led him to various roles in soap operas, films, FTV and music.

Career path in Indonesia

Tengku Firmansyah’s career in the entertainment world began when he participated in the Model Plus event in 1996 and won third place. Since then, he began receiving various acting offers and starred in his first soap opera, Lupus, in 1997.

His name became more well-known after starring in several popular soap operas, such as Cinta Abadi, Pintu Hidayah, Above Sajadah Cinta, Suci, Dewa, Tukang Porridge Naik Haji the Series, Pengkolan Motorcycle Taxi Driver and Scrooge.

Not only in soap operas, Tengku Firmansyah has also tried his luck in the world of cinema. Since his debut in the film Kuwai di Corner Semanggi in 2004, he has starred in several other films, such as In The Name Of Love, Rasa, Rindu Purnama, Move On and A Song For God.

The pinnacle of his achievements in the film world was when he became a writer, director and actor in the 2006 film Girlz Begins.

Aside from acting, Tengku Firmansyah also showed his musical talent by releasing a duet song with his wife, Cindy Fatikasari, titled When It’s Time to Talk.

On the small screen, he has also tested his presenting skills in several television shows, such as Melodi Noon, Expression, Pro Musik, MTV Wow, Close Up Dawson Creek and Sanex Quiz.

New life in Canada

In 2024, Tengku Firmansyah and Cindy Fatikasari decide to settle in Canada with their three children. There, they start a new life with various adjustments, especially in terms of work.

Unlike Indonesia, The Firmanxious volunteered to work as a factory hand at the Edmonton Exchanger. He doesn’t seem to mind welding his iron and wearing his work uniform.

The company that employs him is known for specializing in the manufacture of ship components and a wide range of machining services, specializing in large-scale milling and drilling of tube sheets for heat exchanger applications.
