Regina

Tourism campaigns are postponed after the end of the pandemic. However, the whole town is outraged because the tourist campaign used is a bit weird.

Regina is the capital of the province of Saskatchewan Canada West. The city’s tourism agency has just launched a new tourism campaign under the theme Experience Regina.

“Show us your Regina (show us your Regina)” is an excerpt from the lyrics of the music video quoted by The Independent.

The whole town was immediately shocked to hear it. Townspeople believe the lyrics refer to the female genitalia, the vagina.

“Show us your Regina. Is this the best humor we can find? The humor of female anatomy to promote our city? said a resident on the Facebook page.

“Teen level branding and therefore cringe,” added another.

“We’ll see how funny this campaign is when a woman is attacked using the phrase ‘show me your Regina,'” another added.

Due to the large number of reports from residents, Tim Reid, CEO of Experience Regina, has finally apologized.

“I want to apologize, on behalf of myself and our team, for the negative impact we created during the recent launch of our campaign,” he said. Metro.

Now, the lyrics of the song have been changed from “Show me your Regina” to “This is Regina”.
