JAKARTA – Prestige Aviation presented an EHang 216 unit at the SPACE Hub

When he saw the EHang 216 autonomous aerial vehicle in person, Jokowi did not hesitate to try to sit in the cabin of the unmanned aircraft.

“Flying taxis, wow, that’s interesting. Mr. President is very excited to try it. And Mr. President wants to try, we will try. But we absolutely have to accept this news technology”, said Budi Karya, in his statement, Sunday, October 1.

Budi said that the Republic of Indonesia plans to develop this vehicle as a means of public transportation. However, one thing that should not be forgotten is safety. Therefore, to make the dream of flying vehicles a reality in Indonesia, the government

must finalize the settlement.

Rudy Salim, Executive Chairman of Prestige Aviation, explained in more detail

The EHang 216 is a 100% electric aerial vehicle, therefore environmentally friendly.
