JAKARTA – Spotify announced that starting April 9, Spotify Premium users in Canada, Ireland and New Zealand will have access to up to 15 hours per month of listening to audiobooks on Spotify.
Previously, Spotify Premium subscribers in the US, UK and Australia had access to this benefit for several months.
Spotify's Premium Audiobook catalog now includes more than 250,000 titles, a significant increase from 200,000 audiobooks at the end of 2023.
“Our Premium Audiobook catalog, already available in the US, UK and Australia, is one of the largest subscription audiobook streaming platforms, with over 250,000 titles. We have reached 200,000 titles since the end of last year. » Spotify wrote in its announcement.
Later, users who have reached the 15-hour limit will be able to add more audiobook listening time with a 10-hour recharge. In new markets, additional listening time costs 14.99 Canadian dollars, equivalent to IDR 176,000.
In other cases, even if your unused audiobook listening time is 15 hours on Spotify, the remaining time will not carry over to the next month.
As of last month, Spotify has been offering audiobook subscriptions only in the United States. Priced at 10 US dollars (Rp. 158 thousand). Apparently, this offer has managed to attract many users.
