HOLOPIS.COM, JAKARTA – The round of 16 of the Swiss Open 2023 are completely concluded. 5 out of 7 Indonesian representatives were able to record good results.
Several Indonesian representatives who have succeeded in the last 16 of the Swiss Open, such as Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Putri KW from women’s singles, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari from mixed doubles, etc.
Putri KW surprisingly managed to frustrate the resistance of one of India’s strongest female singles badminton players, Pusarla Sindu.
Likewise with Grego, he managed to get rid of the Canadian mainstay, Michelle Li, from the Swiss Open 2023.
Then there was Rinov/Pitha of mixed doubles, they were able to beat the Danish duo Mathias Christiansen/Alexandra Boje.
However, All England 2023 semi-finalists Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Lisa Ayu Kusumawati could not follow this impressive result and lost to Hiroki Midorikawa/Natsu Saito of Japan.
