The 2022 World Cup wraps up on Sunday, December 18: check out the event schedule and staff

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Tournament World Cup 2022 Qatar is coming to an end. The closing will take place on Sunday evening December 18, 2022, before the final match between Argentina and France which will take place at the Lusail stadium in Doha.

ceremony Closing of the 2022 World Cup will have as its theme “An unforgettable night”. According to the FIFA website, this event will be filled with a series of music and poetry. The Official Song (Original Soundtrack) of the Qatar 2022 World Cup will be played at the event.

Artists such as Davido (American national musician) and Aisha (Qatar) will sing ‘(Hayya Hayya) Better Together’, Ozuna (Puerto Rico) and Gims (Congo) will perform ‘Arhbo’.

Nora Fatehi, a Canadian-Moroccan musician, will also be on stage. Meanwhile, singers Shakira and Jennifer Lopez are said to appear in the video.

According to the FIFA website, the final match will take place at 22:00 WIB. The closing ceremony will begin at 8:30 p.m. WIB, with the stadium gates opening at 6:00 p.m. WIB.

The organizers promise that the 88,000 spectators who will attend the closing ceremony and the final will leave with lasting memories. The festive closing will close the World Cup event which has been going on for 29 days.

A total of 63 matches took place at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. And the two best teams qualified for the final round, Argentina and France.

France are the 2018 world champions. If the Blues manage to win the title, they will equal Brazil’s record as successful champions twice in a row (1958 and 1962). So far, Didier Deschamps’ team has won twice (1998 and 2018).

Argentina last tasted the World Cup title in 1986. So far, the Albiceleste have only won the World Cup twice (1978 and 1986). The last time Argentina qualified for the World Cup final was in 2014, where they lost 0-1 to Germany.
