Beritasenator.com. The Canadian superstar’s rendition of Edith Piaf’s Hymn to Love was her first live performance since revealing she suffers from stiff person syndrome.

Celine Dion said she was “thrilled” after her impressive comeback at the Paris Olympics opening ceremony.

Dion made his first appearance since revealing he suffers from Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

The 56-year-old singer performed from the front stage of the Eiffel Tower as an estimated one billion people watched the Olympic opening ceremony on television.







Dion has not performed since 2021, when she canceled her Las Vegas residency due to health concerns, before revealing her PSS diagnosis in December 2022 and canceling her world tour.

Last month, Dion revealed she had already taken a potentially fatal dose of diazepam to help relieve seizures so she could perform on stage.

SPS is a rare disease that causes progressive muscle stiffness.

The singer said it could trigger spasms so strong they could break ribs and feel like the throat was being strangled.
