New News, Jakarta – On Monday (19/6) morning, the Rupee exchange rate was recorded at the level of IDR 14,982 per US Dollar. The Garuda currency weakened by 42 points or 0.28% from the previous trade.
Majority cash in the Asian region also experienced a weakening. The Japanese yen weakened by 0.06%, the Thai baht by 0.16%, the South Korean won by 0.57%, the Chinese yuan by 0.16%, the Singapore dollar by 0.07 % and the Hong Kong dollar by 0.02%.
However, the Philippine peso actually strengthened by 0.16% when trade opened this morning.
At the same time, the main currencies of developed countries experienced variations. The European euro was flat, the pound strengthened by 0.03% and the Swiss franc weakened by 0.08%.
Additionally, the Australian dollar weakened 0.21%, while the Canadian dollar weakened 0.09%.
