Bisnis.comJAKARTA – The Venezuelan national team will continue its dream at the 2024 Copa America by facing Canada in the quarterfinals to be held at AT&T Stadium, Texas, on Saturday (6/7/2024) morning.
Venezuela qualified for the quarter-finals after playing well in the group stage qualifying at the top of the standings. Salomon Rondo cs managed to win three times beating favourites Ecuador, Mexico and Jamaica.
Venezuela will now be challenged by Canada, who appear less stable at the 2024 Copa America. Canada can only win and draw once in the group stage.
Against a red-hot Venezuela, Canada, coached by Jesse Marsch, must play efficiently and take advantage of opportunities. If that can be done, it is not impossible that Canada will qualify for the semi-finals against Argentina.
