Vietnamese media brand Indonesia as FIFA favorites after being named to host the 2023 U-17 World Cup

Previously, Indonesia was scheduled to host the 2023 U-20 World Cup from May 20 to June 11. However, FIFA revoked this right following the rejection by several regional officials of one of the participants, namely Israel. As a replacement, FIFA then chose Argentina as hosts.

This time there will be no protests inside the country. Because Israel did not qualify for the tournament. The European representatives at this event are England, France, Germany, Poland and Spain.

So far, the identities of 19 participants have been known, plus the new host, namely Indonesia. There are still four unknown candidates. The Asian representatives were only discovered after the results of the ongoing Asian U-17 Cup 2023.
