He often shares portraits of his daily life as a welder on his personal Instagram. Even though his job is now very different from the one he does in Indonesia, Tengku Firmansyah seems to really enjoy it.

More recently, in one of the soap opera star Pengkolan Ojek Driver’s uploads, a netizen asked why he did not pursue his career as a pilot even though he already had a commercial pilot’s license (CPL).

“Uncle, why don’t you continue taking CPL, uncle, don’t you already have PPL?” asked a netizen quoted from the Instagram account @tengku_firmansyah, Tuesday (6/8/2024).

This actor, who was born in Bandung on September 15, 1977, also confirmed that he has a commercial pilot’s license or a pilot’s license. It’s just that he doesn’t want to be far from his family if he works as a pilot.

So, the actor decided to work as a welder instead of flying here and there leaving his family behind due to his responsibilities as a pilot.

On the other hand, Tengku Firmansyah admitted that he always wanted to be able to see his family every day, which he could not do if he worked as a pilot and had to often fly to various places.

“I already have a CFL from the FAA but you have to get another Canadian license if you want to fly here. But if you become a pilot, you will be separated from your family a lot,” Tengku Firmansyah replied.

“I want to see you every day,” he said.
