Chancellor of Tarumanagara University (Untar), Prof. Agustinus Purna Irawan said the commemoration of National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2023 should be used as a moment to enhance inclusive and non-exclusive education.

“Education is for all. Not something exclusive but inclusive for all. And Untar wants to help achieve this inclusive education,” he said in an official statement on Wednesday (05/ 03/2023).
Therefore, he said, to provide equal study opportunities to all students across Indonesia, Untar also cooperates with local governments to provide scholarships.
He explained that the scholarship program is a scholarship from the APBD funds. However, he said, Untar would continue to help with scholarship recipients’ tuition if there were any issues with the disbursement of APBD funds.
“Sometimes the APBD is not very smooth, but we keep supporting it until the process is in progress. So students don’t need to worry, please continue to study in Untar” , did he declare.
He said that one of the fellowships with the regional government that is currently ongoing is with the Mahakam Ulu regional government. 39 students are currently studying in various degree programs at Untar.
Professor Agustinus also explained that his campus is also developing a scholarship program with foundations and non-profit organizations. Like scholarships for the Flores sisters who want to become doctors but have financial constraints.
