Kramaric finally put his name on the scoreboard for the second time in the 70th minute. Again he followed Perisic’s assist with the Canadian defense showing weakness.

Croatia still have a chance to increase the advantage. However, Borjan made back-to-back saves to repel Perisic and Marcelo Brozovic’s efforts.

There is still a chance that Canada will fall at the feet of Junior Hoilett. It’s a shame the former Blackburn Rovers player couldn’t maximize his chances.

Croatia then gave Canada a lesson on added time. Kamal Miller made a mistake. Mislav Orsic broke away on his own and found Lovro Majer to slot into an empty net in the 90+4th minute.
