JAKARTA – Student of SMA Negeri 3 Semarang, Maulana Fatahillah Adzima has been accepted in 21 foreign universities in eight different countries.

The young man who just graduated in May 2023 has received letters of acceptance (LoA) from 27 departments on various campuses, including the University of California (UC) Berkeley in the United States.

Then Wageningen University in the Netherlands, University of New South Wales in Australia, University of Sydney in Australia, University of Toronto Scarborough in Canada, Monash University in Australia, Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and University of Manchester in Great Britain.

Eventually, Maulana decided to choose the University of California (UC) Berkeley to pursue her education.

“I got my LoA (letter of acceptance) from UC Berkeley which is my dream university. It is the university I aspire to because it has one of the best engineering programs civilian, ranked third in the world, and overall UC Berkeley is ranked 10th in the world,” Maulana said, as quoted on his Instagram account @USS Feed, Friday (7/7/2023).

It is known that during school Maulana often took part in competitions or Olympic Games up to the national level. He had several achievements, one of which was the National Science Olympiad (NSO) in the field of Geography and Earth Sciences, which led him to become one of the recipients of the Advanced Scholarship Indonesia Scholarship (BIM) organized by the National Achievement Center.
