Conglomerate Hary Tanoesoedibjo eager to become a candidate for Legislature (Caleg) in the 2024 elections. Not only himself, based on the candidates on the General Election Commission (KPU) preliminary list, Hary Tanoe have also registered as candidates in the 2024 election.

The Hary Tanoe family has long been known as a conglomerate family. Hary Tanoe is the founder of MNC Group and till now is Chairman of PT MNC Investasi Tbk. Furthermore, Hary Tanoe is also the founder and general chairman of the Indonesian Unity Party (Perindo).

Rating-based detikcomit is known that Hary Tanoesoedibjo or who is more colloquially called Hary Tanoe or HT was born on September 26 in Surabaya in 1965. He is one of the richest conglomerates in Indonesia.

According to Forbes, on Thursday (24/8/2023), Hary Tanoe’s assets currently stand at US$1.09 billion, or approximately Rp 16.6 trillion (exchange rate Rp 15,246). Thanks to these assets, Hary Tanoe is ranked 39th on the Forbes list of the 50 richest in Indonesia.

Meanwhile, it is known that Hary Tanoe received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Carleton University, Canada in 1988 and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, Canada in 1989.

It is known that Hary Tanoe started building a media business right after graduating from college. To date, it still owns more than 60 TV channels, radio stations and newspapers.

According to the official website of MNC Sekuritas, Hary Tanoe has worked in various subsidiaries of the MNC Group. Hary Tanoe has been Chairman and CEO of: PT Global Mediacom Tbk since 2002, PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk since 2004, PT Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI) since 2010, PT MNC Land Tbk since 2011, PT GLD Property since 2012.

Moreover, Harry Tanoe is simultaneously chairman-commissioner of: PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (Indovision) since 2006, PT MNC Sekuritas since 2004, PT Global Informasi Bermutu (Global TV) since 2009, PT Media Nusantara Informasi since 2009 and PT Cipta Televisi Pendidikan Indonesia (MNCTV) since 2011.
