The expedition team discovered the ancient active volcano covered with a giant egg. The volcano rises to 3,600 feet or 1,100 meters.
Marine Biologist at Fisheries and Oceans CanadaCherisse Du Preez said the warm, mineral-rich liquid kept the waters around it warm.
