World Basketball News: United States National Team head coach Steve Kerr is aware of the many countries that are rapidly expanding in basketball outside of the United States. The United States themselves had to settle for fourth place in the 2023 FIBA World Cup this time.

“I was part of the coaching staff for the United States national team during the 2019 FIBA World Cup. At that time, we finished seventh. It was tough. United States haven’t won the FIBA World Cup since 2014. The teams in this tournament were very good, well coached and they have continuity,” Kerr said.
