Bali United U18 head coach I Gde Mahatma Dharma alias Dede gave a positive response to three members of his team who were undergoing training camp with the Indonesian U17 national team.
These three young players belonging to Bali United even have the opportunity to go to Germany as preparation for the U17 World Cup which will take place in 2024.
They are Mohamad Andre Pangestu, I Wayan Arta Wiguna and Maouri Ananda Yves Ramli Simon.
The three Tridatu Muda soldiers started their training camp from last Thursday (6/9) to Sunday (17/9) in Jakarta.
Through this training camp in Jakarta, the main team will be selected and will travel to Germany for the next stage of the TC.
These preparations were made ahead of the U17 World Cup which will take place from November 10 to December 2, 2023 in Indonesia.
Coach Dede also admitted that he was happy with the call-up of three members of his Serdadu Tridatu Muda team to the Indonesian national team.
Coach Dede even hopes that these three young players can use this momentum to break into the main Garuda Muda team that will participate in international events.
“I am very happy with the call-up of three Bali United U18 players to participate in the training camp with the Indonesian U17 national team in Germany. “I hope they can take advantage of this great opportunity and that their returning (from Germany), they can also be included in the main team of Garuda Muda which will participate in the U17 World Cup”, hoped coach Dede.
The three Bali United U18 players who suffered a TBI with the Indonesian U17 national team have different playing positions.
Wayan Arta or known as Ello plays as goalkeeper, Andre Pangestu plays as defender and Maouri Simon plays as central midfielder.
These three players will face several other players who have been called to attend a training camp in Jakarta to take the next step towards Germany.
Returning from Germany, the coaching team led by coach Bima Sakti will select the main lineup of players who will participate in the U17 World Cup in Indonesia.
The match venues in Indonesia will be held in 4 stadiums, namely Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) (Jakarta), Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung), Manahan Stadium (Solo) and Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium (Surabaya) .
The Indonesian national team entered POT 1 and will immediately enter Group A as the host.
Indonesia is in POT 1 with Brazil, Mexico, France, Spain and Japan.
Then POT 2 is inhabited by Germany, Mali, England, South Korea, Argentina, Ecuador and POT 3 is inhabited by New Zealand, Iran, Senegal, the United States, Uzbekistan and Morocco.
Meanwhile, POT 4 includes Canada, New Caledonia, Panama, Burkina Faso, Poland and Venezuela.
The draw will take place on Friday (15/9) at FIFA headquarters, Zurich, Switzerland.
A total of 24 competitors will participate in this international event, divided into 6 groups, each consisting of 4 participants.
Pot 1: Indonesia, Brazil, Mexico, France, Spain, Japan
Hat 2: Germany, Mali, England, South Korea, Argentina, Ecuador
Hat 3: New Zealand, Iran, Senegal, United States, Uzbekistan, Morocco
Hat 4: Canada, New Caledonia, Panama, Burkina Faso, Poland, Venezuela.
