Spain secured a ticket to the U-17 World Cup after becoming a semi-finalist in either the U-17 Euro 2023 or the U-17 European Cup 2023.
In terms of equipment and squad depth, Spain has a talented squad as it is populated with players trained in the two academies of giant clubs Barcelona and Real Madrid.
Among the 21 player names called, there are eight players from La Masia (Barcelona academy) and four players from La Fabricia (Real Madrid academy).
Even though they have not called up Barcelona player Yamine Yamal, who is now enjoying regular time in the Blaugrana main team, Hernan Perez’s team still has goal-hungry bomber Marc Guiu.
The country nicknamed “La Rojita” will not have the impression of missing Yamal because Marc Guiu has at least the same productivity objective. In the U-17 European Cup, Guiu scored four goals, equaling Yamal’s goals.
Apart from that, in midfield, the duo Roberto Martin and Pau Prim will be ready to replace Guiu in the front line.
The map of power in Canada
Canada tried to learn from negative trends during its participation in the 2019 U-17 World Cup held in Brazil.
The team coached by Andrew Olivieri had to return home as quickly as possible after finishing three group stage matches without ever winning, namely a 1-4 defeat against Brazil in the first match, a 1-2 defeat against Angola in the second match and a 0.-1 defeat in the second match, most recently against New Zealand.
Canada is ready to break the negative results by containing players who mainly occupy the academies of Canadian League clubs such as Toronto FC, CF Montreal, Vancouver FC and Vancaouver Whitecaps FC.
Canada will certainly expect plenty of magic from midfielder Jeevan Badwal. The Vancaouver Whitecaps player is often able to emerge as a differentiator and is the team’s midfield general.
Other than that, Canada will entrust its defense to Montpellier academy defender Aklil Lino.
Map of power in Mali
Armed with becoming a semi-finalist in the 2023 CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations or the U-17 Africa Cup, Mali can head to the U-17 World Cup.
Of course, the key to Mali’s strength lies in coach Soumaila Coulibaly, who will build his team to repeat its success at the 2015 U-17 World Cup by becoming a finalist.
At least Coulibaly, a former Club Freiburg and Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder, is getting plenty of playing time leading the Mali national team at the U-15 and U-17 levels.
During this tournament which took place for the first time in Indonesia, Coulibaly declared that the Aiglonnets had to at least reach the semi-finals.
It is hoped that goal-hungry captain and striker Ibrahim Diarra can repeat his magic at the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.
Ibrahim Diarra, who is reportedly being monitored by European clubs, will team up with FC Metz training center striker Badra Traoré to get Mali out of hell.
Energy map of Uzbekistan
After being confirmed absent for ten years the last time Uzbekistan participated in the 2013 U-17 World Cup, Indonesia certainly do not want to waste the opportunity of the U-17 World Cup this time- this.
The team led by coach Jamoliddin Rakhmatullaev certainly wants to relive the sweet memories of the time when Uzbekistan, which made its debut at the U-17 World Cup in 2011, was able to qualify for the round of 16 .
Behind Uzbekistan’s success in securing tickets to the U-17 World Cup, Indonesia certainly cannot be separated from Rakhmatullaev’s iron fist.
Since being named Uzbekistan U-17 coach in November 2022, Rakhmatullaev has made the Uzbekistan team a fearsome team in the eyes of their opponents.
Under Rakhmatullaev’s hands, Uzbekistan have lost just twice and kept five clean sheets in 11 matches.
Armed with 21 players still studying at the local academy, Uzbekistan will entrust midfielder Lazizbek Mirzaev to guide the team through this hellish group.
Academy player Loko Taskhent should be a differentiator. At the Asian Cup, Mirzaev scored two goals and two assists for Uzbekistan.
