TRIBUN-TIMUR.COM, MAKASSAR – UIN Alauddin Makassar students represent Indonesia in the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada or iCAN 2022.
The figure of Edysul Isdar managed to bring home a silver medal from this international event.
Edysul Isdar is a student in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Alauddin Makassar.
ICAN 2022 is organized by the Toronto International Society of Innovation and Advanced Skills (TISIAS).
“Locally, this activity is supported by the Innovation Initiative Co-operative Inc., and globally, it is supported by the International Federation of Inventors’ Associations (IFIA),” Edysul Isdar said Thursday (1/9/2022 ).
Edysul Isdar participated in the Innovation Project competition branch.
In this project, Isdar brings Bagasse Bioelectricity innovation
Bagasse Bioelectricity is an alternative electric power generator based on industrial waste from sugar mills using microbial fuel cell (MFC) technology.
Under the leadership of the Indonesian Invention and Innovation Promotion Association (INNOPA), Edysul Isdar represented Indonesia in the competition which was attended by 650 participants from 79 countries.
Edysul Isdar was very grateful and did not expect to get a silver medal in the iCAN 2022 competition.
