Solo: The Spanish U-17 national team held its first training program in Karanganyar to host the 2023 U-17 World Cup which will take place in Indonesia from November 11. They did this after visiting Bali.

The Spanish national team has been in Bali since November 1 to train and adapt to the tropical heat. Hot temperatures have indeed hit parts of Indonesia, including Solo, which is one of the hosts of the 2023 U-17 World Cup.

Spain itself will play the preliminary round in the city of Solo with no less hot weather. Even though the rainy season has arrived, it is still hot and it does not rain regularly.


After leaving Bali, La Rojita goes directly to Solo. Landing at Adi Soemarmo Airport, Boyolali, Monday (11/6/2023), the Spanish U-17 national team just trained on Tuesday (11/17/2023). Their first training session took place at Blulukan Field, Karanganyar, on Tuesday (07/11/2023).

According to the schedule, this training session lasts two hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WIB. The media team only had the opportunity to take photos during the first 15 minutes of this exercise. However, there was no interview session.

Juany Roldan, media manager for the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), said his party had been unable to give an interview. However, he felt happy to be able to meet the media team who came to cover the activities of José Lana’s team.

“I am very happy to meet you, to meet colleagues from the media. Usually during team training we give the media the opportunity to take photos for 15 minutes. However, there is no interview session,” said Juany Roldan greeting the media team.

Apart from that, Juany Roldan assured that he is ready to help the media team that covers the activities of Marc Guiu and others during their participation in the 2023 U-17 World Cup, especially on match days.

“Later on the match day, please contact me. I will help my friends who deal with the media. Because I am responsible for liaising with the media of the Spanish U-17 national team,” he said. -he declares.

At the 2023 U-17 World Cup, the Spanish U-17 national team will be in Group B with Canada, Mali and Uzbekistan. In the first match, they will face Canada at Manahan Stadium, Solo, Friday (10/11/2023) at 7:00 p.m. WIB.

This match is the first test for José Lana’s team to achieve their big goal of the U-17 World Cup 2023. The reason is that they have never won a league title. His best success was only four times runner-up during the 19991, 2003, 2007 and 2017 editions.
