Alvvays and Interpol gently close the Joyland Festival 2023

Jakarta: The Joyland Festival 2023 is over. The concert, which lasted three days, ended with a performance by Interpol, an American group.

The indie rock band, founded in 1997, started their performance with “Untitled”, which immediately brought roars to the GBK Senayan Baseball Field, Jakarta. The song by Daniel Kessler and his colleagues sounded familiar to the audience, so they sang it.

“Hello, we are Interpol,” said singer Paul Banks, Sunday (11/26/2023).

Paul Banks is said to be economical with his words before and after performing a song. Despite this, this did not dampen fans’ enthusiasm to return to sing songs such as “Obstacle 1”, “PDA” and “Evil”.

Even though the day has changed, the public still hasn’t gone to see Interpol. They actually became more enthusiastic about participating until the last song called “Slow Hands” was played. The presence of Interpol also closed the excitement of the Joyland Festival 2023.

Before Interpol, the Canadian group Alvvays performed their famous songs. Likewise, The Beths are an indie rock band from New Zealand. Not forgetting the Japanese female punk band, Otoboke Beaver, which attracted attention.

Joyland Fest 2023 will be held from November 24 to 26, 2023. Not only international bands, the third day of Joyland Festival 2023 is also hosted by Indonesian bands such as Dongker, Gabber Modus Operandi, Grrrl Gang, Lair, Leipzig, Mocca, Reality Club, Rock n Roll Mafia, Santamonica, Friends, Afternoon and others.

The day before, Joyland Festival 2023 also brought together Mew, Bloc Party, Fleet Foxes, Maliq & D’Essentials, The Adams, The Brandals, d4vd, David Bayu, Lomba Magic, The Panturas and White Shoes & The Couples Company.
